A few days ago, Building Energy Efficiency and Science Division of Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development of the People’s Republic of China carried out special supervision and inspection for energy conservation and emission reduction in building field in Yunnan Province. Yunnan Housing and Urban-rural Development Department will further focus on solar energy and wind energy source application to carry forward renewable energy sources building application, to vigorously boost development of green building, to establish Yunnan green building evaluation and identification office, to compile relevant standards, and to request that Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development of the People’s Republic of China should authorize Yunnan to carry out evaluation and identification work for one-star and two-star green buildings.

 
Yunnan Housing and Urban-rural Development Department reported 2011 comprehensive situation of energy conservation and emission reduction of Yunnan building field to the inspection team, and introduced that it would pay attention to carrying out demonstration projects of renewable energy sources building application next, specially establish Yunnan green building evaluation and identification office, compile Yunnan Green Building Evaluation Standard, confirm Yunnan Green Building Evaluation and Identification Regulations, and request that Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development of the People’s Republic of China should authorize Yunnan to carry out evaluation and identification work for one-star and two-star green buildings.
