Informatization Acceleration

 In the decade, along with rapid development of worldwide computer software and network as well as promotion of enterprise talents quality, enterprises informatization construction had experienced the stages from primary application, infrastructure, comprehensive application, to the high-end intelligence application which many enterprises are pursuing at present, enterprise informatization management standards had also made a qualitative leap. In the decade, most construction enterprises had established and perfected finance and fund management system, office automation system, human resources management system, project management system and work site video monitoring system, having gradually realized financial risk control and paperless office, meanwhile, realized headquarters’ control on controlled (subsidiary) companies and projects; the hardware facilities had gradually been perfected, such as, enterprise computer central office, server cluster, network security, etc. Under the circumstance that engineering projects have big mass, high complexity, pressed time limit and wide range nowadays, many construction enterprises have invested a great quantity of manpower and material resources in developing appropriate professional software independently or by cooperating with other units, having greatly pushed forward engineering project specification, risk warning and cost control, and also having fostered a batch of new inter-disciplinary talents who know engineering technology and have ability of software development.

 What Chinese construction enterprises need thinking and solving is exactly how to transform development patterns, to enhance capability of independent innovation and to promote core competitiveness. It must be seen that China’s building trade’s talking with international party and acting on international convention have just begun.
